This summer, TeamKC showcased our region’s lifestyle to more than 2,000 interns, as well as complemented companies’ efforts to attract C-level talent for key positions.
Through customized social events geared for young professionals, TeamKC hosted monthly gatherings through #InternKC, a program led by future talent of Kansas City’s top employers.
Events like #InternKC’s #ParkPopUp and the ExploreKC scavenger hunt were effective recruiting strategies developed by the TeamKC Advisory Board. This program, created to get young professionals sticky to KC, helped companies seal-the-deal when making full-time offers to talent.
In addition, TeamKC worked with companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, Sprint Corporation and H&R Block to create customized Kansas City content and experiences for C-level positions.
