Google Announcement of $1B Data Center Draws Global Spotlight to KC

On March 20, 2024, Google announced its $1 billion investment in a data center in Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, the company announced it is expanding a skilled trade career development program to the region and contributing to North Kansas City School District’s alternative education STEAM program.

The news garnered more than 185 pieces of coverage, generating nearly 4.28 million views from an audience reach of 635 million.
