Craig Wallace, recipient of the 2024 Iron Paw Award, takes a moment to share his gratitude and thoughts on what change means in our industry.
I'm deeply honored and humbled to be chosen as the 2024 Iron Paw award recipient. As I mentioned in my remarks at the Animal Health Summit, we sometimes criticize ourselves for being slow to change. This may be true to some degree, but I also know our industry is full of brilliant people dedicated to driving innovation. And innovation is change. But as an industry we cannot expect to solve the big global issues facing us without a fundamental shift in how we view this concept of change. We must be prepared to not just accept change, but also to look for it. I challenge us all to seek it out, hunt it down and view it as foundational to our long-term success.
Thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, mentors and to the support of the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor Board.
