The Kansas City Business Journal recently announced its honorees for its Champions of Business awards reception and the Animal Health Corridor was well-represented with both Dairy Farmers of America and Vytelle joining the list of 18.
According to CEO Kerryann Kocher, cattle herd technology company Vytelle has had roughly 50% annual revenue growth since its launch in 2019 with about 10% global market share in its sector.
Dairy Farmers of America under new CEO Dennis Rodenbaugh has turned around a downward trend in the industry to boost 2023 earnings and lay the groundwork for a promising 2024.
Leaders got to choose a representative “walk-up song” and speak on their company’s behalf during the awards reception at Loews Kansas City Hotel on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
The companies were chosen by a panel of four judges who looked for financially strong, innovative companies that also hold community involvement as a priority. Businesses must be at least three years old, be headquartered in Kansas City and generate at least $3 million in revenue.
Congratulations to Dairy Farmers of America and Vytelle for this honor and thank you for your continuing contributions to the Animal Health Corridor.
