Walmart Opening New 1.8M SF Distribution Center in KC Area

Congratulations to our partners in Topeka on the announcement that Walmart is opening a new 1.8M-sq.-ft. Distribution center, joining its three existing distribution operations in the KC region. The company has committed to a 10-year $635 million investment that will create 300 new jobs over the next five years. Joe Accurso, Cushman & Wakefield led the real estate search for the project. 
The Kansas City Area Development Council was proud to partner with the following organizations in attracting Walmart to the KC region:
