Industrial development in Kansas City continues unprecedented growth and is setting new records. Here are a few recent numbers and rankings.
- 1.9 million-sq.-ft. of industrial space reached completion in Q1 2018 in Kansas City. A total of 21.9 million-sq.-ft. of industrial space reached completion since 2015, the highest total in the Midwest, outside of Chicago. Demand in the Kansas City industrial market has increased each year since the end of the great recession. (Source)

Highlights of industrial projects so far in 2018 include:
- Faurecia Interiors will open a new approximately 250,000-sq.-ft. production facility, creating more than 300 new jobs. Production activity will officially begin later this year. Read more.
